The gear module, the kalimba actuation module, the base stability design, and the weights and pendulum underwent multiple rounds of revision and iteration, making the final assembly consists of over 170 components. The use of brass and the manufacturing cost of the gears make it an exceptionally refined and precise mechanical design.
