Unicorn in the Mini Mill

The Unicorn
Unicorn is a multipurpose tool, CNC-machined from an aluminum-alloy plate on a Mini Mill.

The Mini Mill toolpaths were analyzed and generated in Mastercam.

Desktop
Duck

Desktop Duck is a desktop ornament designed to hold nametags. It’s main body is made of aluminium, CNC-milled, and finished with polishing and bead blasting.

To facilitate Mini Mill machining, the duck was designed as two symmetrical parts connected by dowel pins.
The stock was designed as a 1″ × 1″ × 4″ symmetric block, with pre-machined slots and holes to accommodate the fixture plate and dowel pins.
